Catell Ronca illustrated for The New York Botanical Garden. Her illustrations can be seen in a television spot for The Edible Garden, an exhibition promoting locally grown, seasonal food. From June 19th through October 17th, The Edible Garden will host daily cooking demonstrations, teaching you how to grow and prepare the best food at home. Every weekend a lineup of celebrity chefs takes center stage with samples, book signings and gardening demonstrations. All proceeds benefit the Children’s Gardening program.

The Edible Garden opens this weekend with the Get Out and Grill Festival from June 19th to 20th, featuring a Sunday BBQ perfect for Father’s Day. Other highlights include cooking demonstrations by celebrity chefs, an appearance and book signing by former New York Yankee Roy White, samples of sustainably produced food and hands-on activities for the kids.
