Alexander Blue illustrated for Ciel Water’s recently launched campaign debuting their new Eco-Flex bottle design. The new bottles are designed to lessen their impact on the environment and Blue’s upbeat and vibrant illustrations echo the campaign’s eco-friendly message. His bright colors and friendly characters can be seen in an animated spot and on billboards all over Mexico, as well as on packaging, t-shirts, notebooks and postcards. The Ciel Water website also features downloadable wallpapers for your desktop, iPhone or Blackberry.

Alexander Blue illustrated for JCW’s restaurant The Burger Boys. The restaurant serves good old-fashioned burgers, fries and milkshakes and is based in Utah. The illustration is part of a marketing and promotion campaign that includes menus, placemats and t-shirts.

Blue for Coca-Cola Argentina

Alexander Blue was commissioned by the hot South American ad agency Gazz to create a series of characters and illustrations for Coca Cola. The illustrations were then animated by the agency’s design team into a 2 minute short titled ‘Vivir Positivamente’ (Live Positively) which can be viewed as a series of small segments or as one longer one. The animation which follows a couple of upbeat characters through their day and shows the effects of ‘living positively’ will be shown at a Coca Cola corporate events in Buenos Aires and throughout Argentina. It may also be viewed on the Coca-Cola Argentina website. Click here to watch the animation.

Eight beautiful illustrations by seven Magnet Reps artists were chosen by the recent American Illustration jury to appear in American Illustration 26. Appearing in the book (available November 2007) and website are Gordon Wiebe, Emiliano Ponzi, Graham Roumieu and Red Nose Studio. Appearing solely on the website are Nate Williams (2), Alexander Blue and Marguerite Sauvage. A great year for a talented group of artists.
