Bella Pilar’s debut line of fabric is now available from Studio E as part of their Winter 2010 line. The appropriately named Girly Girl collection consists of 18 100% cotton fabrics, including tossed, repeat and allover patterns.

Studio E is a wholesale retailer but you can find the collection at most fabric stores. It is also available online from River City Quilts.

Bella Pilar’s illustrated character, Fleur, is the spokeswoman for Italian beauty retailer La Gardenia. She recently made an appearance in Italian Vanity Fair to promote one of her favorite beauty brands – Lancôme.

Bella Pilar’s illustrations can be seen on adorable handmade skirts and dresses from Los Angeles-based designer, Lanya. The fabrics are part of the Girly Girl collection from Studio E.

Red Nose Studio and Bella Pilar are exhibiting artwork in ICON6: A Labor of Line at Nucleus Gallery in Alhambra, CA. The show coincides with the illustration conference, featuring art from 60 of this year’s attendees and contributors. The show runs until Monday, August 9th, 2010.

Italian beauty retailer La Gardenia is celebrating the release of Sex and the City 2 with an animated spot by Bella Pilar that follows Fleur, their illustrated spokeswoman, as she embarks on her own fashionable Dubai getaway. Bella Pilar illustrated for San Francisco’s Union Square Ice Rink. Last year the outdoor rink, which is operated by Willy Bietak Productions and surrounds the Macy’s holiday tree, attracted 55 000 skaters over the holiday period. Bella’s illustrations could be seen on outdoor signage surrounding the rink, as well as on the building that houses the zamboni.

Bella Pilar has done five more illustrations for the online magazine Savoir Flair. The magazine showcases the hottest must-haves and coolest trends in fashion and beauty and is a perfect fit for Bella’s savvy, sweet and sexy girls.
