Bella Pilar Featured in Domino

Bella Pilar is featured in the February issue of trendy Domino Magazine - The Guide to Living in Style. The article, a recurring series on buying art, guides readers in buying fashion illustration to hang in their homes and showcases the work of eight highly regarded international illustrators including Mats Gustafson and Izak Zenou.

The Domino website also displays additional work by the artists including Bella’s.

“An Illustrated World” Featured Illustrators

RCTV, Venezuelan television’s pioneer broadcaster is producing a one-hour documentary on the best illustrators in the world. After an exhaustive search of worldwide illustrators they have invited Gordon Wiebe, Marguerite Sauvage, Bella Pilar, Emiliano Ponzi and Graham Roumieu to be a part of this exciting production.

The collaboration will feature illustrations and voice or video excerpts from each artist discussing inspiration or techniques.

Fashion Illustration’s Big Book

Summer 2007 Art Directors will have an exciting and beautiful new choice in which to find fashion illustration. Batsford will be publishing 400 full color pages of about 800 to 1000 fashion illustrations. Magnet Reps artists, Marguerite Sauvage and Bella Pilar have both been chosen for the selective group of artists to be featured in this largest ever single publication devoted to Fashion Illustration.

The book will be broken down into generic headings including womenswear, menswear and accessories to name a few, then further organized into smaller more specific groups. Art Directors will easily be able to find the particular illustration they want and contact the artist directly.

Shawn Barber, Gordon Wiebe, Red Nose Studio, Marguerite Sauvage, Jennifer Playford, Graham Roumieu and Ben Shannon all participated in this beautiful resource.
