Stephan Britt has done a series of illustrations for Bounce’s Beyond the Dryer ad campaign. The charming campaign has a retro ’storybook’ appeal which focuses on a number of unusual and innovative uses for Bounce dryer sheets and encourages consumers to share their own stories online. His illustrations can be seen in five print ads, two 30 second TV spots, and two 15 second TV spots across Canada and the United States.

Bounce Beyond the Dryer

S.Britt had a piece in the Mr. Toast & Friends Art Show at Monkeyhouse Toys in L.A. where different artists contributed their interpretations of Mr.Toast and his friends. Mr. Toast is the creation of Dan Goodsell. Mr. Toast and his friends Lemonhead, Shaky Bacon, Mope the Onion and Joe the Egg can be found on Dan Goodsell’s website, www.theimaginaryworld.com, in the form of humorous animations, weekly comics and painted and drawn artwork. The show opens on tonight, Saturday, March 1st, 2008.

Stephan Britt and Maho Sato were married in a beautiful ceremony in San Francisco on July 28th, 2007. Congratulations and cheers to a happy life together!

The Karaoke Chipmunk giftcard that Stephan Britt illustrated for Target stores made it into the AIGA Minnesota Design show 2007. The card and backer which contained a recordable chip allowed kids (or the young at heart) to record their singing and play it back. Congratulations Stephan and the Target design team!

s. britt’s illustrations can be seen in the new spring broadcast campaign for the nationwide Canadian department store chain Zellers. The ‘S Is For Spring’ commercials are geared to spring offerings for children and combine his illustrations as well as others with live action. The ’sweeps’ cat and ’seeks’ scenery can be seen in the video clip link below, another ’smooches’ illustration appears on a second commercial.

After a successful advent calendar themed holiday catalog cover, Stephan Britt was asked to illustrate thirteen illustrations for a calendar to be sent to best customers of the web retailer eBay.com. The calendar follows the ‘it’ campaign through the months with clever visual solutions to different seasons and events. A sampling of the calendar illustrations are below.

s. britt was selected by The Wurst Gallery to contribute an illustration of a pointer as part of the launch their biggest show to date, The Wurstminster Dog Show. Over 100 artists from all over the world are each illustrating, painting or creating a different dog breed for the show. A portion of the proceeds of sales from this event will benefit the Dove Lewis Animal Hospital in Portland, OR.

The Portland Mercury chose s. britt’s art to print on the cover of the latest issue publicizing the event. Great cover!

His nostalgic advent calendar themed catalog cover is the first in a series of two holiday print catalogs and can be seen online as well.
