Williams for Ser y Grafia

Tuesday, December 8th, 2009

Nate Williams was invited to be one of eight artists from Buenos Aires asked to contribute art to Ser y Grafia. The book and art show, which also includes eight artists from Sao Paolo, explores the similarities and differences in art from the two cities. The book was printed using the serigraphy process, a manual production process that is similar to silkscreening and is very seldom used today. The book was printed on 100% cotton paper and only 300 copies were produced, 90 of which will be donated to various art, cultural, education and social institutions in Argentina and Brazil.

The art was exhibited in both Argentina and Brazil. Click here for more information about the project.
