Haworth’s Nerve Centre of the Empire

Hennie Haworth is participating in Nerve Centre of the Empire, a new exhibition recently opened at the Porthcurno Telegraph Museum, near Lands End in Cornwall. Formally the largest cable station in the world, the exhibition at Porthcurno shows what massive impact on society and technology this remote corner of south-west England had.

The exhibition was designed by Neil Tinson Studio.

Red Nose + Pilar for A Labor of Line

Red Nose Studio and Bella Pilar are exhibiting artwork in ICON6: A Labor of Line at Nucleus Gallery in Alhambra, CA. The show coincides with the illustration conference, featuring art from 60 of this year’s attendees and contributors. The show runs until Monday, August 9th, 2010.

Bagayan for Pop Surrealism, Italy

Ana Bagayan will be exhibiting artwork in Pop Surrealism, a group art show part of the 2010 Spoleto Festival in Spoleto, Italy. The show was curated by Gianluca Marziani and Alexandra Mazzanti and focuses exclusively on the Pop Surrealism movement. It runs from June 26th to October 15th, 2010 at Piazza Collicola. Other artists in the show include Mark Ryden, Shepard Fairey, Tara McPherson, Gary Baseman, Lola, Ron English, Naoto Hattori, James Jean and Tim Biskup, among others.

Sauvage for Enchanté

Marguerite Sauvage is exhibiting work in Enchanté at Nucleus Gallery in Alhambra, CA. Each of the artists participating in the show hails from France but despite their shared national roots, each has an aesthetic that is uniquely their own. With pieces that explore a range of subject matter, Enchanté celebrates France’s extraordinary diversity and creativity as told by some of the country’s freshest creative voices.

Other artists participating in the show include Adolie Day, Véronique Joffre and Véronique Meignaude, as well as Nucleus newcomers Benjamin Lacombe, Rebecca Dautremer, Gerald Guerlais, Lilidol, Emmanuelle Pioli and more.

Sauvage’s Femmes Fleurs at Cannes

Marguerite Sauvage’s Femmes Fleurs series was exhibited in French department store, Galeries Lafayette, in Cannes, France. The exhibit coincided with the Cannes International Film Festival, which wrapped up on May 23rd, 2010.

Red Nose for EARTH: Fragile Planet

Red Nose Studio is exhibiting his piece, The Seeder, in EARTH: Fragile Planet at the Museum of American Illustration at the Society of Illustrators in New York. The exhibit, curated by Greg Manchess and Jack Unruh with co-curators Tara Jacoby and Kate Feirtag, will showcase the work of 120 of the world’s most accomplished illustrators, including original art in both traditional and digital medium, video, 3D and comics. Aparicio + Sauvage, Curious and Curiouser

Raquel Aparicio and Marguerite Sauvage are exhibiting work in Curious and Curiouser: Inspired by ‘Alice In Wonderland’ at Nucleus Gallery in Alhambra, CA. With Tim Burton’s highly anticipated film adaptation of Alice in Wonderland hitting theaters later this month, Nucleus Gallery invited artists, some of which worked on the feature film, to create their own vision of the iconic story and celebrate it’s lasting legacy. The show runs from Saturday, February 27th until Monday, March 29th, 2010.
