Ana Bagayan’s solo show Flutter opens at Mondo Bizzarro Gallery in Rome on Saturday, May 8th, 2010. Two new prints will be available at the show but if you can’t make it to Italy a limited number of prints are currently available from her online shop. The show runs until Wednesday, June 2nd, 2010.

Magnet Reps will debut new artists and more than 50 new lines at SURTEX 2010 in New York City (Javits Convention Center, Booth 341-343) May 16-18.

Returning with Bella Pilar’s successful line, Magnet Reps will launch two new artists and collections spanning everyday, holiday, bridal and kids from ankle-biter through tween and teen. The new artists add sizzle to the agency with Hennie Haworth’s prettily quirky art and Nate Williams’ frisky, folky looks.

The agency unites their work with the art licensing needs of respected companies large and small, matching art with product and creating unique solutions for clients in industries such as apparel, social expression, publishing, gift and toys. Emiliano Ponzi, Graham Roumieu and Red Nose Studio each had work selected to appear in the American Illustration 29 annual. From an impressive 8,033 pictures entered by over 1,200 illustrators, magazines, agencies and publishers, the jury selected only 388 images by a majority vote or better to appear in the book and represent the best images from 2009. AI29 will be printed in full color and distributed world-wide in hard-cover in November 2010.

Ana Bagayan also had work chosen to appear on THEE, American Illustration’s web gallery. Her piece was one of only 280 images from over 8,000 submitted to receive at least 2 votes and will be featured permanently on the website when it launches in November 2010.

Bella Pilar illustrated for Italian beauty brand La Gardenia. This month La Gardenia is celebrating their spokeswoman Fleur’s birthday with a new ad campaign that includes several 2-minute telepromotions that can be seen throughout Italy. Buon Compleanno girlfriend!

Nate Williams is exhibiting Bark Bench at Turbo Galleria in Buenos Aires, Argentina. The opening reception doubled as a silkscreening party and many attendees left with their very own silkscreened item. Emiliano Ponzi illustrated for Fabio Novembre’s Pit Stop@Urban Center. The event was part of Fuori Salone 2010 and Emiliano’s art was spread across 3×4 meters in the Piazza della Scala.

Nate Williams’ poster for Adult Swim’s Aqua Teen Hunger Force may be a few years old but it made a recent appearance in the horror comedy Zombieland, starring Woody Harrelson.
