Red Nose for Group Publishing

Red Nose Studio illustrated the packaging for Ecclesia, a Sunday school kit from Group Publishing’s Buzz division. The kit includes fun, interactive games and activities that prompt sharing and relationship-building. It is aimed at children in the first and second grades.

Magnet Artists for 3×3 Pro Show

Emiliano Ponzi, Nate Williams and Red Nose Studio each has work chosen to appear in the 3×3 Pro Show annual. This year, 3×3 received more entries than ever before, making their seventh show their largest to date. Emiliano Ponzi’s piece for The Telegraph won a Bronze Medal in the Editorial category and Nate Williams’ piece for Hola Amiga received a Distinguished Merit award in the Institutional category. Congratulations go out to all!

Williams for Adult Swim’s Block Party

Nate Williams illustrated for Adult Swim’s traveling Block Party. Adult Swim, the creators of television shows such as Aqua Teen Hunger Force and King of the Hill, brought the traveling party to cities across the United States. It featured t-shirt giveaways, carnival games and free concerts by bands like The Whigs, Fiery Furnaces and People Under the Stairs. Nate’s Illustrations could be seen on banners for games such as Meat Wad Pointy Pop, Hairy Throw Knock Down and Squidbillies If you Like It Put a Ring On It.

Nate Williams recently illustrated a placemat for Monoblock. The placemat joins a notebook he illustrated for the Argentinian-based company last year.

Red Nose for EARTH: Fragile Planet

Red Nose Studio is exhibiting his piece, The Seeder, in EARTH: Fragile Planet at the Museum of American Illustration at the Society of Illustrators in New York. The exhibit, curated by Greg Manchess and Jack Unruh with co-curators Tara Jacoby and Kate Feirtag, will showcase the work of 120 of the world’s most accomplished illustrators, including original art in both traditional and digital medium, video, 3D and comics. The show opens on Friday, June 4th and runs until Saturday, July 31st, 2010. Click here to see the process behind Red Nose Studio’s piece.

Red Nose + Angie’s List Win SPJ Awards

One of Red Nose Studio’s favorite clients, Angie’s List, recently won an impressive six awards from the Indiana Society of Professional Journalists. Two of the awards were for covers featuring Red Nose Studio’s artwork and another was for an Arts & Entertainment article by Ingrid Cummings about Red Nose Studio and the covers he’s illustrated for the magazine. Congratulations go out to Chris, Tanja, Ingrid and everyone on the Angie’s List team!
