Catalina Estrada’s textile prints for Anunciaçao‘s Summer 2012 collection marks her tenth collaboration with the Brazilian fashion brand. This season, Catalina draws inspiration from the sea with swirling patterns in rich blues and plenty of underwater creatures, including jellyfish, seahorses and starfish.

Nate Williams’s “Habla Espanol” was chosen to appear in the 2012 Communication Arts Typography Annual. Commissioned by Louis Fishauf of Fishauf Design for Global Brief magazine, the piece uses handlettering to communicate the growing importance of the Spanish language in Latin America.

Eleanor Grosch’s Gulf-inspired luggage tags for full-service marketing firm, Zehno, were recently featured in Print’s 2011 Regional Design Annual. The tags were part of a holiday promotion for Zehno’s clients and friends with a donation to the Coalition to Restore Coastal Louisiana being made in honor of all recipients. The luggage tags can be seen in the December 2011 issue of Print magazine. Congratulations go out to Eleanor and everyone at Zehno!

Eleanor Grosch is thrilled about her upcoming line of greeting cards with Marian Heath and they must be just as excited as she was a featured artist on their recent market mailer (including the splash page for their website) and was profiled on the Marian Heath Facebook page last month.
This January, they will release a collection of nine greeting cards featuring Eleanor’s smart, hip aesthetic and trademark graphic style. With foil and glitter embellishments, these cards measure 5 x 5 inches, making it hip to be square!

Catalina Estrada’s artwork was licensed for two recenlty released puzzles from Andrews + Blaine.
Winter Heart features two hummingbirds over a vibrant red heart, while Dragonfly Courtship shows two dragonlfies surrounded by lush florals. Both designs are classic Catalina with ornate linework and bold graphics in a stunning display of colorful symmetry.
Both 1000-piece puzzles measure 19 x 27 inches and come packed in it’s own keepsake drawer box. They are intended for ages 13 and up and are available through Barnes & Noble.
