Red Nose Studio's Chris Sickels was invited to lead a stop-motion animation workshop at the Design Family Reunion this past Labor Day weekend. Modeled on family reunions and wedding weekends, the informal gathering was intended to reunite those who have come to know each other over the years through professional practice and collaboration.
Held on beautiful Asilomar Beach in Pacific Grove, California, Chris called the conference "unlike any other that I have participated in. A slowed down pace and conversation galore. Never have I had such an opportunity to sit back and take in conversation with new and old friends. No masses of people herding in and out of ballrooms and no PowerPoint presentations."
