Red Nose Studio presents Peripheral Visions at ICON 4

Chris Sickels of Red Nose Studio spoke at ICON 4, the 4th illustrator's conference, on July 7th, 2005. The session was called Peripheral Visions, which he presented along with fellow illustrators Molly Zakrajsek, Mark Todd and Esther Pearl Watson. The theme of the presentation was that an illustrator's style defines them, but sometimes you need to step sideways to keep your groove from getting in a rut. How do you go about stretching yourself and experimenting with new things? Projects were presented that all three of the illustrators self-initiated to step outside of themselves and blaze new trails Turnout to the presentation was excellent with a full house in attendance. Chris' presentation and visuals were well thought out and clearly presented, but the most memorable component was how touching it was.
